Please read this Privacy Policy carefully, as it contains information about how we use the personal data you provide to us or that we collect in the context of the Website.
Simply browsing the Website does not require personal data and is not treated as consent. Where processing relies on your consent (for example the contact form or optional cookies), it is requested explicitly and can be withdrawn at any time.
We reserve the right to update this policy and the Cookie Policy. Please revisit this section periodically. Any significant change will be posted on the Website.
Please also read the Cookie Policy available on the site.
Purpose and manner of processing
You can use almost all of our Website without providing Personal Data. However, for certain services this data is necessary so that we can communicate with you.
Information marked as required on the Website is necessary to provide you with the requested information or services. If you do not provide the required information, we will not be able to provide that information or service.
Responding to requests sent through the contact form
If you send us a request through the "Request a quote" form or contact us by phone, we will use the data you provide to resolve that request. We will record your questions, our answers and other actions needed to resolve your request.
How the form works technically: the data you enter is sent by e-mail to our mailbox, and you automatically receive a confirmation copy at the address you provided. Before sending, the form is checked by an anti-spam service (Cloudflare Turnstile or Google reCAPTCHA, whichever is active), which processes your IP address and technical browser data under the provider's own policy (Cloudflare, Google). To prevent abuse, our server keeps a hashed form of your IP address for at most one hour, and a technical error log.
After the request is resolved, personal data will be deleted or anonymised, unless the request may be of interest for improving the quality of our products or services.
Personal data: first name, last name, phone number, e-mail address, company (optional), project type and message (any data you send us).
Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the box in the form (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(a)), and our legitimate interest in resolving the request and protecting the Website against abuse (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients:
- IT service providers for our companies, or providers to whom we subcontract technical support for our online platforms (web and e-mail hosting, the anti-spam service mentioned above);
- regulatory and other state authorities where required by legal or statutory requirements (for example, we will respond to requests from courts, law enforcement, regulatory agencies and other public authorities, which may include such authorities outside your country of residence).
We disclose your personal data only to the extent necessary to resolve the request you send us.
As a rule, Personal Data is processed within Romania / the EU. Where Personal Data is processed outside the EEA, we ensure an adequate level of information and protection for the transferred data. We require service providers to take appropriate measures to protect the confidentiality and security of Personal Data.
Retention: we process Personal Data until the request is resolved and for no more than 30 days after the last communication about that request.
Storage location: data is stored on VIAPROIT's server in Romania.
Social networks (Facebook)
If you have "liked" our Facebook page, we can see your profile and the data you have made public. We can also see the comments you post on our page.
If you send us requests through these pages, we process your Personal Data in order to provide support and respond.
Social networks process your data when you visit our pages. We cannot influence the data processing carried out by these networks in any way.

Facebook's privacy notice is available at https://www.facebook.com/privacy/explanation. It also explains how to contact Facebook with any questions about your personal data.
Personal data: data from your public profile on the social network (e.g. picture, first name, last name, nickname, age, preferences).
Legal basis: our legitimate interest (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients:
- IT service providers for our companies, or providers to whom we subcontract technical support for our online platforms;
- regulatory and other state authorities where required by legal or statutory requirements.
For more information about the third parties to whom your Personal Data is disclosed, please see the social networks' policies.
Retention: we do not delete your comments on posts on our pages; you can do so yourself.
Storage location: data is stored on the social network's platform.
Maintenance and security of our Website
The server hosting the Website automatically records certain data in standard technical logs for maintenance, troubleshooting performance problems and ensuring security.

Legal basis: our legitimate interest in maintaining and optimising the Website and ensuring its security (GDPR, Art. 6(1)(f)).
Recipients: the web hosting provider and providers to whom we subcontract technical support for the Website. We do not currently use traffic-analytics services (such as Google Analytics).
Retention: technical logs are kept for at most 6 months.
Storage location: data is stored on VIAPROIT's server in Romania.
